Effective January 6, 2012 video games will be circulated for 7 days and will now have a limit of 3 games per household.
Also, the computers in the Media / Audiovisual Department on the main floor are now available for members 15 yrs. of age and up.

The annual Winter Reading Program is now under way!
To register click on the link below. Recording titles beginning January 23rd and goes through March 19th. Readers must read or listen to a total of six (6) 
Poplar Creek items. (Yes, you can read more than that!) In addition to reading books participants will be given the opportunity to play Library Bingo.

Mango Languages:
Poplar Creek Library welcomes you to Mango Languages, an online language learning system including lessons in Chinese (Mandirin), French, German, Russian, Spanish, and English for Spanish Speakers and others.
ESL lessons are also available. Lessons are fun and easy including instruction involving real life situations and audio examples from native speakers. Mango Languages is available both in the library and from your home computer at www.poplarcreeklibrary.org. Home access requires the use of your Poplar Creek Library Card number and pin. Stop by the Reference Desk on the lower level, and we will be happy to assist you.
